1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

1 De manera que yo, hermanos, no pude hablaros como a espirituales, sino como a carnales, como a niños en Cristo.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

2 Os di a beber leche, y no alimento sólido; porque aún no erais capaces, ni aún lo sois ahora,

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

3 porque todavía sois carnales; pues, habiendo entre vosotros celos, y contiendas y disensiones, ¿no sois carnales, y andáis como hombres?

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

4 Porque diciendo uno: Yo ciertamente soy de Pablo, y otro: Yo de Apolos, ¿no sois carnales?

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

5 ¿Qué, pues, es Pablo? ¿Y qué es Apolos? Servidores por medio de los cuales habéis creído; y eso según lo que a cada uno ha concedido el Señor.

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

6 Yo planté, Apolos regó, pero Dios ha dado el crecimiento.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

7 Así que ni el que planta es algo, ni el que riega, sino Dios, que da el crecimiento.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

8 Y el que planta y el que riega son una misma cosa, aunque cada uno recibirá su recompensa conforme a su labor.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

9 Porque nosotros somos colaboradores de Dios, y vosotros sois labranza de Dios, edificio de Dios sois.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

10 Conforme a la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada, yo como perito arquitecto puse el fundamento, y otro edifica encima; pero cada uno mire cómo edifica sobre él.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

11 Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, el que es Jesucristo.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

12 Y si alguno edificare sobre este fundamento oro, plata, piedras preciosas, madera, heno, hojarasca,

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

13 la obra de cada uno se hará manifiesta; porque el día la descubrirá, pues por el fuego será revelada; y la obra de cada uno, sea cual sea, el fuego la pondrá a prueba.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

14 Si permanece la obra de alguno que sobreedificó, recibirá recompensa.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

15 Si la obra de alguno fuere quemada, sufrirá pérdida; pero él mismo será salvo, aunque así como por fuego.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

16 ¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

17 Si alguno profanare el templo de Dios, Dios le destruirá a él, porque el templo de Dios, el cual sois vosotros, santo es.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

18 Nadie se engañe a sí mismo; si alguno entre vosotros se cree sabio en este mundo, hágase ignorante para llegar a ser sabio.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

19 Porque la sabiduría de este mundo es insensatez para con Dios, pues escrito está: Él prende a los sabios en la astucia de ellos.

20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

20 Y otra vez: El Señor conoce los pensamientos de los sabios, que son vanos.

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

21 Así que, ninguno se gloríe en los hombres, porque todo es vuestro:

22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

22 sea Pablo, sea Apolos, sea Cefas, sea el mundo, sea la vida, sea la muerte, sea lo presente, sea lo por venir, todo es vuestro,

23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

23 y vosotros sois de Cristo, y Cristo es de Dios.
