1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

1 En cuanto a la ofrenda para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.

2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

2 Cada primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros ponga aparte en su casa, guardando lo que por la bondad de Dios pueda, para que cuando yo llegue, no se recojan entonces ofrendas.

3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

3 Y cuando yo haya llegado, enviaré a los que hayáis aprobado por cartas para que lleven vuestro donativo a Jerusalén.

4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

4 Y si conviene que yo también vaya, irán conmigo.

5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

5 Y a vosotros iré cuando haya pasado por Macedonia, porque por Macedonia tengo que pasar.

6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

6 Y puede ser que me quede con vosotros, o que tal vez pase el invierno también, para que vosotros me encaminéis a donde tenga que ir.

7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

7 Porque no quiero veros ahora de paso, pues espero estar con vosotros algún tiempo, si el Señor lo permite.

8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

8 Pero estaré en Éfeso hasta Pentecostés,

9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

9 porque se me ha abierto una puerta grande y eficaz, y muchos son los adversarios.

10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

10 Y si llega Timoteo, mirad que esté con vosotros sin temor; porque él también hace la obra del Señor así como yo.

11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

11 Por tanto, nadie le tenga en poco; sino encaminadle en paz, para que venga a mí, porque le espero con los hermanos.

12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

12 Acerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le he rogado que fuese a vosotros con los hermanos; pero de ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tenga oportunidad.

13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

13 Velad, estad firmes en la fe; portaos varonilmente, y sed fuertes.

14 Let all your things be done with charity.

14 Todas vuestras cosas sean hechas con caridad.

15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

15 Y os ruego, hermanos (ya sabéis que los de la casa de Estéfanas son las primicias de Acaya, y que se han dedicado al ministerio de los santos),

16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

16 que os sujetéis a tales personas, y a todos los que ayudan y trabajan.

17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

17 Me regocijo en la venida de Estéfanas y de Fortunato y de Acaico, porque estos han suplido lo que faltaba de vuestra parte.

18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

18 Porque ellos han recreado mi espíritu y el vuestro; reconoced, pues, a tales personas.

19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

19 Las iglesias de Asia os saludan. Os saludan mucho en el Señor Aquila y Priscila, con la iglesia que está en su casa.

20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

20 Os saludan todos los hermanos. Saludaos los unos a los otros con beso santo.

21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

21 Yo, Pablo, os escribo esta salutación de mi puño y letra.

22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha.

22 El que no ama al Señor Jesucristo, sea anatema. ¡Maranata!

23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

23 La gracia del Señor Jesucristo sea con vosotros.

24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

24 Mi amor en Cristo Jesús sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
