1 Listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, your Redeemer, the Great I AM, whose arm of mercy hath atoned for your sins;

1 Escuchad la voz de Jesucristo, vuestro Redentor, el Gran YO SOY, cuyo brazo de misericordia ha expiado vuestros pecados;

2 Who will gather his people even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, even as many as will hearken to my voice and humble themselves before me, and call upon me in mighty prayer.

2 quien juntará a su pueblo como la gallina junta a sus polluelos debajo de sus alas, sí, a cuantos escuchen mi voz, se humillen ante mí y me invoquen con poderosa oración.

3 Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, that at this time your sins are forgiven you, therefore ye receive these things; but remember to sin no more, lest perils shall come upon you.

3 He aquí, de cierto, de cierto os digo que en esta ocasión vuestros pecados os son perdonados, por tanto, recibís estas cosas; mas acordaos de no pecar más, no sea que os sobrevengan peligros.

4 Verily, I say unto you that ye are chosen out of the world to declare my gospel with the sound of rejoicing, as with the voice of a trump.

4 De cierto os digo, que sois escogidos de entre el mundo para declarar mi evangelio con el son de regocijo, como con voz de trompeta.

5 Lift up your hearts and be glad, for I am in your midst, and am your advocate with the Father; and it is his good will to give you the kingdom.

5 Elevad vuestros corazones y alegraos, porque yo estoy en medio de vosotros, y soy vuestro intercesor ante el Padre; y es su buena voluntad daros el reino.

6 And, as it is written—Whatsoever ye shall ask in faith, being united in prayer according to my command, ye shall receive.

6 Y como está escrito: Recibiréis cuanto pidiereis con fe, si estáis unidos en oración de acuerdo con mi mandato.

7 And ye are called to bring to pass the gathering of mine elect; for mine elect hear my voice and harden not their hearts;

7 Y sois llamados para efectuar el recogimiento de mis escogidos; porque estos escuchan mi voz y no endurecen su corazón.

8 Wherefore the decree hath gone forth from the Father that they shall be gathered in unto one place upon the face of this land, to prepare their hearts and be prepared in all things against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked.

8 Por tanto, del Padre ha salido el decreto de que serán recogidos en un solo lugar sobre la faz de esta tierra, a fin de preparar su corazón, y que se preparen en todas las cosas para el día en que se derramen tribulaciones y desolación sobre los malvados.

9 For the hour is nigh and the day soon at hand when the earth is ripe; and all the proud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will burn them up, saith the Lord of Hosts, that wickedness shall not be upon the earth;

9 Porque la hora está cerca, y próximo está el día cuando la tierra estará madura; y todos los soberbios y los que hacen maldad serán como rastrojo, y yo los abrasaré, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos, a fin de que no exista maldad en la tierra;

10 For the hour is nigh, and that which was spoken by mine apostles must be fulfilled; for as they spoke so shall it come to pass;

10 porque la hora está cerca, y lo que hablaron mis apóstoles se ha de cumplir; porque acontecerá tal como dijeron;

11 For I will reveal myself from heaven with power and great glory, with all the hosts thereof, and dwell in righteousness with men on earth a thousand years, and the wicked shall not stand.

11 porque con poder y gran gloria me revelaré desde los cielos, con todas sus huestes, y moraré en rectitud con los hombres sobre la tierra mil años, y los malvados no permanecerán.

12 And again, verily, verily, I say unto you, and it hath gone forth in a firm decree, by the will of the Father, that mine apostles, the Twelve which were with me in my ministry at Jerusalem, shall stand at my right hand at the day of my coming in a pillar of fire, being clothed with robes of righteousness, with crowns upon their heads, in glory even as I am, to judge the whole house of Israel, even as many as have loved me and kept my commandments, and none else.

12 Y además, de cierto, de cierto os digo, y ha salido como un firme decreto por la voluntad del Padre, que mis apóstoles, los Doce que estuvieron conmigo durante mi ministerio en Jerusalén, estarán a mi diestra, el día de mi venida en una columna de fuego, ataviados con vestidos de rectitud, y con coronas sobre sus cabezas, en gloria igual que yo, para juzgar a toda la casa de Israel, sí, a cuantos me hayan amado y guardado mis mandamientos, y a ningún otro.

13 For a trump shall sound both long and loud, even as upon Mount Sinai, and all the earth shall quake, and they shall come forth—yea, even the dead which died in me, to receive a crown of righteousness, and to be clothed upon, even as I am, to be with me, that we may be one.

13 Porque sonará una trompeta larga y fuertemente, así como en el monte de Sinaí, y toda la tierra temblará; y saldrán, sí, los que murieron en mí, para recibir una corona de rectitud y ser revestidos así como yo, para estar conmigo, a fin de que seamos uno.

14 But, behold, I say unto you that before this great day shall come the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall be turned into blood, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and there shall be greater signs in heaven above and in the earth beneath;

14 Mas he aquí, os digo que antes que llegue este gran día, el sol se obscurecerá y la luna se tornará en sangre; las estrellas caerán del cielo y habrá señales mayores arriba en el cielo y abajo en la tierra;

15 And there shall be weeping and wailing among the hosts of men;

15 y habrá lloro y lamentos entre las huestes de los hombres;

16 And there shall be a great hailstorm sent forth to destroy the crops of the earth.

16 y se enviará una fuerte tormenta de granizo para destruir las cosechas de la tierra.

17 And it shall come to pass, because of the wickedness of the world, that I will take vengeance upon the wicked, for they will not repent; for the cup of mine indignation is full; for behold, my blood shall not cleanse them if they hear me not.

17 Y acontecerá que a causa de la iniquidad del mundo, me vengaré de los malvados, por cuanto no se arrepienten; porque la copa de mi indignación está llena; pues he aquí, mi sangre no los limpiará si no me escuchan.

18 Wherefore, I the Lord God will send forth flies upon the face of the earth, which shall take hold of the inhabitants thereof, and shall eat their flesh, and shall cause maggots to come in upon them;

18 Por lo tanto, yo, Dios el Señor, enviaré moscas sobre la faz de la tierra, las cuales se prenderán de sus habitantes, y comerán su carne y harán que se críen gusanos en ellos;

19 And their tongues shall be stayed that they shall not utter against me; and their flesh shall fall from off their bones, and their eyes from their sockets;

19 y serán atadas sus lenguas a fin de que no hablen contra mí; y la carne se les caerá de los huesos, y los ojos de las cuencas;

20 And it shall come to pass that the beasts of the forest and the fowls of the air shall devour them up.

20 y acontecerá que las bestias del monte y las aves del aire los devorarán.

21 And the great and abominable church, which is the whore of all the earth, shall be cast down by devouring fire, according as it is spoken by the mouth of Ezekiel the prophet, who spoke of these things, which have not come to pass but surely must, as I live, for abominations shall not reign.

21 Y la grande y abominable iglesia, que es la ramera de toda la tierra, será derribada por fuego devorador, de acuerdo con lo declarado por boca de Ezequiel el profeta, quien habló de estas cosas, las cuales no han acontecido, pero vivo yo, que ciertamente acontecerán, porque no han de reinar las abominaciones.

22 And again, verily, verily, I say unto you that when the thousand years are ended, and men again begin to deny their God, then will I spare the earth but for a little season;

22 Y además, de cierto, de cierto os digo, que cuando hayan terminado los mil años y los hombres de nuevo empiecen a negar a su Dios, entonces perdonaré la tierra solamente por un corto tiempo;

23 And the end shall come, and the heaven and the earth shall be consumed and pass away, and there shall be a new heaven and a new earth.

23 y vendrá el fin, y el cielo y la tierra serán consumidos y pasarán, y habrá un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva.

24 For all old things shall pass away, and all things shall become new, even the heaven and the earth, and all the fulness thereof, both men and beasts, the fowls of the air, and the fishes of the sea;

24 Porque todas las cosas viejas pasarán, y todo será hecho nuevo, el cielo y la tierra, y toda la plenitud de ellos, tanto hombres como bestias, las aves del aire, y los peces del mar;

25 And not one hair, neither mote, shall be lost, for it is the workmanship of mine hand.

25 y ni un cabello ni una mota se perderán, porque es la obra de mis manos.

26 But, behold, verily I say unto you, before the earth shall pass away, Michael, mine archangel, shall sound his trump, and then shall all the dead awake, for their graves shall be opened, and they shall come forth—yea, even all.

26 Mas he aquí, de cierto os digo que antes que pase la tierra, Miguel, mi arcángel, tocará su trompeta, y entonces todos los muertos despertarán, porque se abrirán sus sepulcros y saldrán, sí, todos;

27 And the righteous shall be gathered on my right hand unto eternal life; and the wicked on my left hand will I be ashamed to own before the Father;

27 y serán reunidos los justos a mi derecha para vida eterna; y a los malvados, a mi izquierda, me avergonzaré reconocerlos ante mi Padre.

28 Wherefore I will say unto them—Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

28 Por tanto, les diré: Apartaos de mí, malditos, al fuego eterno, preparado para el diablo y sus ángeles.

29 And now, behold, I say unto you, never at any time have I declared from mine own mouth that they should return, for where I am they cannot come, for they have no power.

29 Y ahora bien, he aquí, os digo que en ningún tiempo he declarado por mi propia boca que han de volver, pues no pueden venir a donde yo estoy, porque no tienen poder.

30 But remember that all my judgments are not given unto men; and as the words have gone forth out of my mouth even so shall they be fulfilled, that the first shall be last, and that the last shall be first in all things whatsoever I have created by the word of my power, which is the power of my Spirit.

30 Mas recordad que no todos mis juicios son dados a los hombres; y tal como las palabras han salido de mi boca, así se cumplirán, para que lo primero sea postrero, y lo postrero sea primero en todas las cosas que he creado por la palabra de mi poder, que es el poder de mi Espíritu.

31 For by the power of my Spirit created I them; yea, all things both spiritual and temporal—

31 Porque por el poder de mi Espíritu las he creado; sí, todas las cosas, tanto espirituales como temporales:

32 First spiritual, secondly temporal, which is the beginning of my work; and again, first temporal, and secondly spiritual, which is the last of my work—

32 primero espirituales, enseguida temporales, que es el principio de mi obra; y además, primero temporales y enseguida espirituales, que es el fin de mi obra,

33 Speaking unto you that you may naturally understand; but unto myself my works have no end, neither beginning; but it is given unto you that ye may understand, because ye have asked it of me and are agreed.

33 hablándoos para que entendáis con naturalidad; mas para mí no tienen fin mis obras, ni principio; pero os es dado para que comprendáis, porque me lo habéis preguntado y estáis de acuerdo.

34 Wherefore, verily I say unto you that all things unto me are spiritual, and not at any time have I given unto you a law which was temporal; neither any man, nor the children of men; neither Adam, your father, whom I created.

34 Por tanto, de cierto os digo que para mí todas las cosas son espirituales; y en ninguna ocasión os he dado una ley que fuese temporal, ni a ningún hombre, ni a los hijos de los hombres, ni a Adán, vuestro padre, a quien yo creé.

35 Behold, I gave unto him that he should be an agent unto himself; and I gave unto him commandment, but no temporal commandment gave I unto him, for my commandments are spiritual; they are not natural nor temporal, neither carnal nor sensual.

35 He aquí, yo le concedí que fuese su propio agente; y le di mandamientos; pero ningún mandamiento temporal le di, porque mis mandamientos son espirituales; no son naturales ni temporales, ni tampoco son carnales ni sensuales.

36 And it came to pass that Adam, being tempted of the devil—for, behold, the devil was before Adam, for he rebelled against me, saying, Give me thine honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the hosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;

36 Y aconteció que Adán, habiendo sido tentado por el diablo, pues, he aquí, este existió antes que Adán, porque se rebeló contra mí, diciendo: Dame tu honra, la cual es mi poder; y también alejó de mí a la tercera parte de las huestes del cielo, a causa de su albedrío;

37 And they were thrust down, and thus came the devil and his angels;

37 y fueron arrojados abajo, y así llegaron a ser el diablo y sus ángeles;

38 And, behold, there is a place prepared for them from the beginning, which place is hell.

38 y he aquí, hay un lugar preparado para ellos desde el principio, el cual es el infierno.

39 And it must needs be that the devil should tempt the children of men, or they could not be agents unto themselves; for if they never should have bitter they could not know the sweet—

39 Y es menester que el diablo tiente a los hijos de los hombres, de otra manera estos no podrían ser sus propios agentes; porque si nunca tuviesen lo amargo, no podrían conocer lo dulce.

40 Wherefore, it came to pass that the devil tempted Adam, and he partook of the forbidden fruit and transgressed the commandment, wherein he became subject to the will of the devil, because he yielded unto temptation.

40 Aconteció, pues, que el diablo tentó a Adán, y este comió del fruto prohibido y transgredió el mandamiento, por lo que vino a quedar sujeto a la voluntad del diablo, por haber cedido a la tentación.

41 Wherefore, I, the Lord God, caused that he should be cast out from the Garden of Eden, from my presence, because of his transgression, wherein he became spiritually dead, which is the first death, even that same death which is the last death, which is spiritual, which shall be pronounced upon the wicked when I shall say: Depart, ye cursed.

41 Por tanto, yo, Dios el Señor, hice que fuese echado del Jardín de Edén, de mi presencia, a causa de su transgresión, y en esto murió espiritualmente, que es la primera muerte, la misma que es la última muerte, que es espiritual, y la cual se pronunciará sobre los inicuos cuando yo diga: Apartaos, malditos.

42 But, behold, I say unto you that I, the Lord God, gave unto Adam and unto his seed, that they should not die as to the temporal death, until I, the Lord God, should send forth angels to declare unto them repentance and redemption, through faith on the name of mine Only Begotten Son.

42 Mas he aquí, os digo que yo, Dios el Señor, les concedí, a Adán y a su posteridad, que no muriesen, en cuanto a la muerte temporal, hasta que yo, Dios el Señor, enviara ángeles para declararles el arrepentimiento y la redención mediante la fe en el nombre de mi Hijo Unigénito.

43 And thus did I, the Lord God, appoint unto man the days of his probation—that by his natural death he might be raised in immortality unto eternal life, even as many as would believe;

43 Y así, yo, Dios el Señor, le señalé al hombre los días de su probación, para que por su muerte natural se levantara en inmortalidad a la vida eterna, sí, aun cuantos creyeren;

44 And they that believe not unto eternal damnation; for they cannot be redeemed from their spiritual fall, because they repent not;

44 y los que no creyeren, a condenación eterna; porque no pueden ser redimidos de su caída espiritual, debido a que no se arrepienten;

45 For they love darkness rather than light, and their deeds are evil, and they receive their wages of whom they list to obey.

45 pues aman las tinieblas más bien que la luz, y sus hechos son malos, y reciben su salario de aquel a quien quieren obedecer.

46 But behold, I say unto you, that little children are redeemed from the foundation of the world through mine Only Begotten;

46 Pero he aquí, os digo que los niños pequeños son redimidos desde la fundación del mundo, mediante mi Unigénito;

47 Wherefore, they cannot sin, for power is not given unto Satan to tempt little children, until they begin to become accountable before me;

47 por tanto, no pueden pecar, porque no le es dado poder a Satanás para tentar a los niños pequeños, sino hasta cuando empiezan a ser responsables ante mí;

48 For it is given unto them even as I will, according to mine own pleasure, that great things may be required at the hand of their fathers.

48 porque a ellos les es dado conforme a mi voluntad, según me plazca, a fin de que se requieran grandes cosas de las manos de sus padres.

49 And, again, I say unto you, that whoso having knowledge, have I not commanded to repent?

49 Y además os digo, ¿a quién de los que tienen conocimiento no le he mandado yo que se arrepienta?

50 And he that hath no understanding, it remaineth in me to do according as it is written. And now I declare no more unto you at this time. Amen.

50 Y en cuanto al que no tiene entendimiento, queda en mí hacer de acuerdo con lo que está escrito. Y ahora no os declaro más en esta ocasión. Amén.
