1 Hearken, O ye people of my church, saith the Lord your God, and hear the word of the Lord concerning you—

1 Escuchad, oh pueblo de mi iglesia, dice el Señor vuestro Dios, y oíd la palabra del Señor concerniente a vosotros:

2 The Lord who shall suddenly come to his temple; the Lord who shall come down upon the world with a curse to judgment; yea, upon all the nations that forget God, and upon all the ungodly among you.

2 El Señor que vendrá súbitamente a su templo; el Señor que descenderá en juicio sobre el mundo con una maldición; sí, sobre todas las naciones que olviden a Dios, y sobre todos los impíos que haya entre vosotros.

3 For he shall make bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of their God.

3 Porque desnudará su santo brazo ante los ojos de todas las naciones, y todos los extremos de la tierra verán la salvación de su Dios.

4 Wherefore, prepare ye, prepare ye, O my people; sanctify yourselves; gather ye together, O ye people of my church, upon the land of Zion, all you that have not been commanded to tarry.

4 Por tanto, preparaos, preparaos, oh mi pueblo; santificaos, juntaos vosotros, oh pueblo de mi iglesia, sobre la tierra de Sion, todos vosotros a quienes no se ha mandado permanecer.

5 Go ye out from Babylon. Be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord.

5 Salid de Babilonia. Sed limpios los que lleváis los vasos del Señor.

6 Call your solemn assemblies, and speak often one to another. And let every man call upon the name of the Lord.

6 Convocad vuestras asambleas solemnes y comunicaos a menudo los unos con los otros. Invoque todo varón el nombre del Señor.

7 Yea, verily I say unto you again, the time has come when the voice of the Lord is unto you: Go ye out of Babylon; gather ye out from among the nations, from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

7 Sí, de cierto os digo otra vez, el momento ha llegado en que la voz del Señor se dirige a vosotros: Salid de Babilonia; congregaos de entre las naciones, de los cuatro vientos, desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro.

8 Send forth the elders of my church unto the nations which are afar off; unto the islands of the sea; send forth unto foreign lands; call upon all nations, first upon the Gentiles, and then upon the Jews.

8 Enviad a los élderes de mi iglesia a las naciones que se encuentran lejos; a las islas del mar; enviadlos a los países extranjeros; llamad a todas las naciones, primeramente a los gentiles y luego a los judíos.

9 And behold, and lo, this shall be their cry, and the voice of the Lord unto all people: Go ye forth unto the land of Zion, that the borders of my people may be enlarged, and that her stakes may be strengthened, and that Zion may go forth unto the regions round about.

9 Y he aquí, este será su pregón y la voz del Señor a todo pueblo: Id a la tierra de Sion para que se ensanchen las fronteras de mi pueblo, y sean fortalecidas sus estacas, y Sion se extienda hasta las regiones inmediatas.

10 Yea, let the cry go forth among all people: Awake and arise and go forth to meet the Bridegroom; behold and lo, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Prepare yourselves for the great day of the Lord.

10 Sí, óigase el pregón entre todo pueblo: Despertad y levantaos y salid a recibir al Esposo; he aquí, el Esposo viene; salid a recibirlo. Preparaos para el gran día del Señor.

11 Watch, therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour.

11 Velad, pues, porque no sabéis ni el día ni la hora.

12 Let them, therefore, who are among the Gentiles flee unto Zion.

12 Huyan, pues, a Sion los que se hallan entre los gentiles.

13 And let them who be of Judah flee unto Jerusalem, unto the mountains of the Lord's house.

13 Y huyan a Jerusalén los que son de Judá, a los montes de la casa del Señor.

14 Go ye out from among the nations, even from Babylon, from the midst of wickedness, which is spiritual Babylon.

14 Salid de en medio de las naciones, sí, de Babilonia, de en medio de la iniquidad, que es la Babilonia espiritual.

15 But verily, thus saith the Lord, let not your flight be in haste, but let all things be prepared before you; and he that goeth, let him not look back lest sudden destruction shall come upon him.

15 Pero de cierto, así dice el Señor, no sea vuestra huida con prisa, sino prepárense todas las cosas delante de vosotros; y no mire hacia atrás el que salga, no sea que le sobrevenga una destrucción repentina.

16 Hearken and hear, O ye inhabitants of the earth. Listen, ye elders of my church together, and hear the voice of the Lord; for he calleth upon all men, and he commandeth all men everywhere to repent.

16 Dad oído y escuchad, oh habitantes de la tierra. Escuchad unánimes, vosotros los élderes de mi iglesia, y oíd la voz del Señor, porque él llama a todos los hombres y manda a todos en todas partes que se arrepientan.

17 For behold, the Lord God hath sent forth the angel crying through the midst of heaven, saying: Prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight, for the hour of his coming is nigh—

17 Porque, he aquí, Dios el Señor ha enviado al ángel para que proclame en medio del cielo: Preparad la vía del Señor y enderezad sus senderos, porque la hora de su venida está cerca,

18 When the Lamb shall stand upon Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his Father's name written on their foreheads.

18 cuando el Cordero estará en pie sobre el monte de Sion, y con él ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, que tendrán el nombre de su Padre escrito en la frente.

19 Wherefore, prepare ye for the coming of the Bridegroom; go ye, go ye out to meet him.

19 Por tanto, preparaos para la venida del Esposo; salid, salid a recibirlo.

20 For behold, he shall stand upon the mount of Olivet, and upon the mighty ocean, even the great deep, and upon the islands of the sea, and upon the land of Zion.

20 Porque he aquí, se pondrá de pie sobre el monte de los Olivos y sobre el potente océano, sí, el gran abismo, y sobre las islas del mar y sobre la tierra de Sion.

21 And he shall utter his voice out of Zion, and he shall speak from Jerusalem, and his voice shall be heard among all people;

21 Y alzará su voz desde Sion, y hablará desde Jerusalén, y se oirá su voz entre todo pueblo.

22 And it shall be a voice as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder, which shall break down the mountains, and the valleys shall not be found.

22 Y será una voz como el estruendo de muchas aguas, y como la voz de grandes truenos que derribarán los montes; y no se hallarán los valles.

23 He shall command the great deep, and it shall be driven back into the north countries, and the islands shall become one land;

23 Mandará al mar profundo, y será arrojado hacia los países del norte, y las islas serán una sola tierra;

24 And the land of Jerusalem and the land of Zion shall be turned back into their own place, and the earth shall be like as it was in the days before it was divided.

24 y la tierra de Jerusalén y la de Sion volverán a su propio lugar, y la tierra será como en los días antes de ser dividida.

25 And the Lord, even the Savior, shall stand in the midst of his people, and shall reign over all flesh.

25 Y el Señor, sí, el Salvador, estará en medio de su pueblo y reinará sobre toda carne.

26 And they who are in the north countries shall come in remembrance before the Lord; and their prophets shall hear his voice, and shall no longer stay themselves; and they shall smite the rocks, and the ice shall flow down at their presence.

26 Y los que estén en los países del norte serán recordados ante el Señor, y sus profetas oirán su voz, y no se contendrán por más tiempo; y herirán las peñas, y el hielo fluirá ante su presencia.

27 And an highway shall be cast up in the midst of the great deep.

27 Y se levantará una calzada en medio del gran mar.

28 Their enemies shall become a prey unto them,

28 Sus enemigos llegarán a serles por presa,

29 And in the barren deserts there shall come forth pools of living water; and the parched ground shall no longer be a thirsty land.

29 y en los yermos desolados brotarán pozos de aguas vivas; y la tierra reseca no volverá a tener sed.

30 And they shall bring forth their rich treasures unto the children of Ephraim, my servants.

30 Y traerán sus ricos tesoros a los hijos de Efraín, mis siervos.

31 And the boundaries of the everlasting hills shall tremble at their presence.

31 Y los confines de los collados eternos temblarán ante su presencia.

32 And there shall they fall down and be crowned with glory, even in Zion, by the hands of the servants of the Lord, even the children of Ephraim.

32 Y allí se postrarán, y serán coronados de gloria, sí, en Sion, por la mano de los siervos del Señor, los hijos de Efraín.

33 And they shall be filled with songs of everlasting joy.

33 Y serán llenos de cantos de gozo sempiterno.

34 Behold, this is the blessing of the everlasting God upon the tribes of Israel, and the richer blessing upon the head of Ephraim and his fellows.

34 He aquí, esta es la bendición del Dios sempiterno sobre las tribus de Israel, y la bendición más rica sobre la cabeza de Efraín y sus compañeros.

35 And they also of the tribe of Judah, after their pain, shall be sanctified in holiness before the Lord, to dwell in his presence day and night, forever and ever.

35 Y también los de la tribu de Judá, después de su aflicción, serán purificados en santidad ante el Señor, para morar en su presencia día y noche, para siempre jamás.

36 And now, verily saith the Lord, that these things might be known among you, O inhabitants of the earth, I have sent forth mine angel flying through the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel, who hath appeared unto some and hath committed it unto man, who shall appear unto many that dwell on the earth.

36 Y ahora, de cierto dice el Señor, para que se sepan estas cosas entre vosotros, oh habitantes de la tierra, he enviado a mi ángel para volar por en medio del cielo con el evangelio eterno, el cual ha aparecido a algunos y lo ha entregado al hombre, y se aparecerá a muchos que moran en la tierra.

37 And this gospel shall be preached unto every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.

37 Y este evangelio será predicado a toda nación, y tribu, y lengua, y pueblo.

38 And the servants of God shall go forth, saying with a loud voice: Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come;

38 Y los siervos de Dios saldrán, proclamando en alta voz: Temed a Dios y dadle gloria, porque la hora de su juicio ha llegado;

39 And worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters—

39 y adorad a aquel que ha hecho el cielo, la tierra, el mar y las fuentes de las aguas,

40 Calling upon the name of the Lord day and night, saying: O that thou wouldst rend the heavens, that thou wouldst come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence.

40 invocando el nombre del Señor día y noche, diciendo: ¡Oh, que hendieras los cielos; que descendieras; que los montes se derritieran ante tu presencia!

41 And it shall be answered upon their heads; for the presence of the Lord shall be as the melting fire that burneth, and as the fire which causeth the waters to boil.

41 Y será contestado sobre su cabeza, porque la presencia del Señor será como el fuego de fundición que abrasa, y como fuego que hace hervir las aguas.

42 O Lord, thou shalt come down to make thy name known to thine adversaries, and all nations shall tremble at thy presence—

42 Oh Señor, tú bajarás para dar a conocer tu nombre a tus adversarios, y todas las naciones temblarán ante tu presencia,

43 When thou doest terrible things, things they look not for;

43 cuando obres cosas terribles, cosas que no esperan;

44 Yea, when thou comest down, and the mountains flow down at thy presence, thou shalt meet him who rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, who remembereth thee in thy ways.

44 sí, cuando desciendas y se derritan los montes delante de tu presencia, recibirás a aquel que se regocija y obra rectamente, que se acuerda de ti en tus vías.

45 For since the beginning of the world have not men heard nor perceived by the ear, neither hath any eye seen, O God, besides thee, how great things thou hast prepared for him that waiteth for thee.

45 Porque desde el principio del mundo no han escuchado los hombres, ni percibido con sus oídos, ni ha visto ojo alguno, además de ti, oh Dios, cuán grandes cosas has preparado para aquel que te espera.

46 And it shall be said: Who is this that cometh down from God in heaven with dyed garments; yea, from the regions which are not known, clothed in his glorious apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength?

46 Y se dirá: ¿Quién es este que desciende de Dios en el cielo con ropas teñidas; sí, de regiones desconocidas, vestido con su atavío glorioso, que viene en la grandeza de su potencia?

47 And he shall say: I am he who spake in righteousness, mighty to save.

47 Y él dirá: Soy aquel que hablé en justicia, poderoso para salvar.

48 And the Lord shall be red in his apparel, and his garments like him that treadeth in the wine-vat.

48 Y los vestidos del Señor serán rojos; y su ropa como del que ha pisado el lagar.

49 And so great shall be the glory of his presence that the sun shall hide his face in shame, and the moon shall withhold its light, and the stars shall be hurled from their places.

49 Y tan grande será la gloria de su presencia, que el sol esconderá su faz avergonzado, y la luna retendrá su luz, y las estrellas serán arrojadas de sus lugares.

50 And his voice shall be heard: I have trodden the wine-press alone, and have brought judgment upon all people; and none were with me;

50 Y se oirá su voz: He pisado yo solo el lagar y he traído juicio sobre todo pueblo; y nadie estuvo conmigo;

51 And I have trampled them in my fury, and I did tread upon them in mine anger, and their blood have I sprinkled upon my garments, and stained all my raiment; for this was the day of vengeance which was in my heart.

51 y los he hollado con mi furor y los pisé con mi ira, y con su sangre he salpicado mis vestidos y manchado toda mi ropa; porque este fue el día de venganza que estaba en mi corazón.

52 And now the year of my redeemed is come; and they shall mention the loving kindness of their Lord, and all that he has bestowed upon them according to his goodness, and according to his loving kindness, forever and ever.

52 Y ahora el año de mis redimidos ha llegado; y harán memoria de la amorosa bondad de su Señor, y de todo lo que sobre ellos ha conferido de acuerdo con su bondad, y de acuerdo con su amorosa misericordia, para siempre jamás.

53 In all their afflictions he was afflicted. And the angel of his presence saved them; and in his love, and in his pity, he redeemed them, and bore them, and carried them all the days of old;

53 En todas las aflicciones de ellos, él fue afligido. Y el ángel de su presencia los salvó; y en su amor y en su clemencia los redimió, los sostuvo y los llevó todos los días de la antigüedad;

54 Yea, and Enoch also, and they who were with him; the prophets who were before him; and Noah also, and they who were before him; and Moses also, and they who were before him;

54 sí, y también a Enoc y a los que estuvieron con él; a los profetas que antes de él fueron; también a Noé y a los que fueron antes de él; y también a Moisés y a los que fueron antes de él;

55 And from Moses to Elijah, and from Elijah to John, who were with Christ in his resurrection, and the holy apostles, with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, shall be in the presence of the Lamb.

55 y de Moisés a Elías, y de Elías a Juan, los cuales estuvieron con Cristo en su resurrección, y los santos apóstoles, con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob, estarán en la presencia del Cordero.

56 And the graves of the saints shall be opened; and they shall come forth and stand on the right hand of the Lamb, when he shall stand upon Mount Zion, and upon the holy city, the New Jerusalem; and they shall sing the song of the Lamb, day and night forever and ever.

56 Y los sepulcros de los santos serán abiertos; y saldrán y estarán a la diestra del Cordero cuando él esté en pie sobre el monte de Sion y sobre la ciudad santa, la Nueva Jerusalén; y cantarán el cántico del Cordero día y noche para siempre jamás.

57 And for this cause, that men might be made partakers of the glories which were to be revealed, the Lord sent forth the fulness of his gospel, his everlasting covenant, reasoning in plainness and simplicity—

57 Y por tal razón, a fin de que los hombres fuesen hechos participantes de las glorias que iban a ser reveladas, el Señor envió la plenitud de su evangelio, su convenio sempiterno, razonando con sencillez y claridad,

58 To prepare the weak for those things which are coming on the earth, and for the Lord's errand in the day when the weak shall confound the wise, and the little one become a strong nation, and two shall put their tens of thousands to flight.

58 a fin de preparar a los débiles para las cosas que vendrán sobre la tierra, y para la obra del Señor en aquel día en que los débiles confundirán a los sabios, y el menor se hará nación fuerte, y dos pondrán en fuga a sus decenas de millares.

59 And by the weak things of the earth the Lord shall thresh the nations by the power of his Spirit.

59 Y con lo débil de la tierra trillará el Señor a las naciones por el poder de su Espíritu.

60 And for this cause these commandments were given; they were commanded to be kept from the world in the day that they were given, but now are to go forth unto all flesh—

60 Y por esta razón se dieron estos mandamientos; se mandó que se retuviesen del mundo el día en que fueron dados, pero ahora han de ir a toda carne;

61 And this according to the mind and will of the Lord, who ruleth over all flesh.

61 y esto de acuerdo con la disposición y la voluntad del Señor, que reina sobre toda carne.

62 And unto him that repenteth and sanctifieth himself before the Lord shall be given eternal life.

62 Y al que se arrepienta y se santifique ante el Señor, se dará la vida eterna.

63 And upon them that hearken not to the voice of the Lord shall be fulfilled that which was written by the prophet Moses, that they should be cut off from among the people.

63 Y sobre los que no escuchen la voz del Señor se cumplirá lo que escribió el profeta Moisés, que serán desarraigados de entre el pueblo.

64 And also that which was written by the prophet Malachi: For, behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

64 Y también lo que fue escrito por el profeta Malaquías: Porque he aquí, viene el día ardiente como un horno, y todos los soberbios y todos los que hacen maldad serán estopa; y aquel día que vendrá los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, y no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.

65 Wherefore, this shall be the answer of the Lord unto them:

65 Por tanto, esta será la respuesta del Señor a ellos:

66 In that day when I came unto mine own, no man among you received me, and you were driven out.

66 El día en que vine a los míos, ninguno de vosotros me recibió, y fuisteis echados fuera.

67 When I called again there was none of you to answer; yet my arm was not shortened at all that I could not redeem, neither my power to deliver.

67 Cuando llamé otra vez, no hubo de vosotros quien contestara; sin embargo, mi brazo no fue acortado en lo más mínimo para que yo no redimiera, ni tampoco mi poder para rescatar.

68 Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink, and die for thirst.

68 He aquí, con mi reprensión seco el mar. Vuelvo los ríos en desierto; hieden sus peces y mueren de sed.

69 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and make sackcloth their covering.

69 Visto de obscuridad los cielos, y su cubierta hago yo de cilicio.

70 And this shall ye have of my hand—ye shall lie down in sorrow.

70 Y esto os vendrá de mi mano: En angustia yaceréis.

71 Behold, and lo, there are none to deliver you; for ye obeyed not my voice when I called to you out of the heavens; ye believed not my servants, and when they were sent unto you ye received them not.

71 He aquí, no hay quien os rescate, porque no obedecisteis mi voz cuando os llamé desde los cielos; no creísteis a mis siervos, y cuando os fueron enviados, no los recibisteis.

72 Wherefore, they sealed up the testimony and bound up the law, and ye were delivered over unto darkness.

72 De manera que, sellaron el testimonio y ataron la ley, y vosotros fuisteis entregados a las tinieblas.

73 These shall go away into outer darkness, where there is weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

73 Estos irán a las tinieblas de afuera, donde es el lloro y el llanto y el crujir de dientes.

74 Behold the Lord your God hath spoken it. Amen.

74 He aquí, el Señor vuestro Dios lo ha hablado. Amén.
