# Assembly Rooms

From my research (or rather wondering on the internet) the following Temples
have and an Assembly Room.

- Kirtland\*

**Notice:** We do not know 100% what exactly these initials originally stood for.

## Kirtland

The Kirtland Temple has two halls (also called courts), both the upper and lower
courts have the same initials.

## Nauvoo

I remember reading that the original Nauvoo Temple had initials in the lower
hall. The upper hall did not have pulpits per say as the Saints did not 100%
complete the temple, but they did have 4 rows of elevated benches (at least at
the time the saints left Nauvoo).

In the reconstruction the space originally for the upper hall was used for the
Endowment ordnance rooms. An Assembly Hall was built on the first floor, but
like all Temples after the St. George, it does not have any initials on the
pulpits.

## St. George

The St. George Temple originally had two halls, with the lower one usually
partitioned with curtains for the Endowment. Later this lower hall was remodeled
to the modern floor lay out with discrete rooms for the Endowment.
